Professional Sound System (PSS) : Technically speaking
You will find below the various diagrams, part lists, printed circuit plots, data sheets, instruction manuels and guarantees of the most recent PSS units.

How to use this page

The amplifiers are listed by series (the serie is printed on the PCB). Each series has its own indications. It is the denomination in the series indicator that differentiates and determines the type of amplifier you are looking for; this is why you will not find a 'clear' direct reference to the name of your amplifier (e.g. SAP 2200). You first have to find out to which series and which indicator your amplifier belongs to. If your amplifier does not belong to one of the indicators listed on this page, refer to the indicator that is nearest (for example, for a 7-C amplifier series, you should refer to the 7-B series).

Determine to wich series an amplifier belongs

Series 1 Amplifier built in a commercially available housing (blue)
Series 2 LINEAR SYSTEM amplifiers, models 1830 and 1848.
Series 3 LINEAR SYSTEM amplifiers, model 1843. Anodised front panel in deep red.
Series 4 SAP 2160 - SAP 2300 amplifiers, lateral heat sinks with horizontal vanes, 200 mm depth.
Series 5 Amplifiers with solid heat sinks on the sides, depth 250 mm.
Series 6 Amplifier with the transformer/s projecting out at the back, depth of casing 150 mm, longitudinal heat sink in L shape.
Series 7 Amplifiers with the transformer/s projecting out at the back, depth of the casing 200 mm, longitudinal heat sink in U shape.
Series 8 Amplifier with ventilation drawing from the back towards the front. Depth of the casing 250 mm (current series).
